Hailing from New York with time in Maine and Florida, Ford D’Aprix is a seasoned real estate professional with over two decades of experience in land acquisition, development, and commercial brokerage. As President of The Rexford Group, he has led the firm in designing and building award winning custom homes, specializing in energy-efficient residential and commercial construction. Holding an unlimited North Carolina State General Contractor’s License, Ford has successfully overseen numerous development projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and sustainable building practices.  Additionally, Ford is the lead developer for Corbett Landing in Pittsboro, NC – a new custom home neighborhood with homesites on large wooded lots.

In addition to his leadership at The Rexford Group, Ford is a Commercial Real Estate Broker where he leverages his expertise to assist clients in navigating commercial and residential real estate transactions. His deep knowledge of market trends, property valuation, and investment strategies makes him a trusted advisor for buyers, sellers, and developers alike.

Beyond real estate, he has experience in the entertainment industry as an Executive Producer and Managing Partner at Endeavor Pictures, overseeing film production, investor relations, and distribution.

Ford lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Chanel, and two children, and yes – in a beautiful home he designed and built himself.  When not living and breathing all things real estate, you can find Ford working on classic cars, mountain biking, or spending time with his amazing family.
