A Home That Was Easy to Love: The Story of 5033 Audreystone Drive

by Hart & Jahoo

There are some things about a home that simply cannot be captured in a listing description.

The square footage can tell you how much room there is. The photographs can show you the arched doorways, fenced backyard, and spaces within. But they cannot quite explain what it feels like to live there every day.

That is why, for our Seller Love Letter series, we asked the owners of 5033 Audreystone Drive to tell us what they will remember most about their home.

Their answer was not about one dramatic feature. It was about the collection of small things that made life here work so well: long neighborhood walks, favorite places close to home, architectural details they grew to appreciate more with time, and a backyard that became one of their dogs' favorite places in the world.

A Letter From the Sellers

It’s a little bittersweet to write about what we’ve loved about this home as we get ready to leave it, because there really is so much.

One of our favorite things has always been the location and how easy it is to walk to so many of the places that are part of our everyday life. Being able to walk to my nail salon or one of our favorite sushi restaurants is something I know I’ll miss. There are also so many trails and connections into surrounding neighborhoods that I can walk for miles and never get bored. It’s that perfect combination of feeling tucked into a neighborhood while still being close to so much of what we enjoy.

Our backyard has also been such a happy place for us, especially for our dogs. They love lounging on the back deck or wandering around the fenced yard, and we’ve loved having a space where we can simply open the door and let them enjoy being outside.

Inside, there are so many details that I’ve come to appreciate more over the years. The closet space is amazing, and the home has character that can be harder to find in newer construction. The crown molding, arched doorways, and other thoughtful architectural details give it a warmth and personality that made it feel special from the beginning.

More than anything, this has been a home that has been easy to live in. It has given us space, convenience, comfort, and a backyard our dogs absolutely love. We’re excited for what’s next, but there are definitely pieces of life on Audreystone that we’re going to miss, and we hope the next owners love them just as much as we have!

The Home Behind the Letter

That ease of living carries throughout 5033 Audreystone Drive.

The home offers approximately 2,712 square feet with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a main-level bedroom and full bath that creates flexibility for guests, multigenerational living, or a private work-from-home space.

Inside, details such as crown molding, arched openings, hardwood and wood flooring, generous storage, and a fireplace give the home the character its owners described. The kitchen adds everyday functionality with granite countertops, an island, breakfast bar, pantry storage, and stainless-steel appliances.

Outside, the fenced backyard and back deck extend the living space beyond the walls of the home. It is easy to understand why this became such an important part of daily life here, whether that meant letting the dogs outside, spending an afternoon on the deck, grilling, entertaining, or simply enjoying home.

And then there is the location. The neighborhood offers the unusual advantage of feeling residential and established while remaining connected to nearby conveniences, restaurants, trails, and the places that naturally become part of a weekly routine.
